We are now looking to welcome a Recruitment Officer to our team to help us continue to grow our exceptional teams across our centres.

Reporting to the Group People Officer, this is a full-time position based in our Central Support Office in Adamstown, Lucan, Co. Dublin.

Role Responsibilities

As the Recruitment Officer, you will be instrumental in attracting, engaging, and onboarding talented early years professionals who share our values and passion for childcare. You’ll manage the recruitment process from end to end, building strong relationships with Directors and creating a seamless and engaging candidate experience that reflects our core values.

 

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for early years educators, centre management, and support staff.
  • Write and post engaging job advertisements across multiple platforms (e.g. Indeed, LinkedIn etc.).
  • Proactively source candidates using a range of channels including social media, databases, careers fairs, and college outreach.
  • Coordinate and participate in interviews and screening calls.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality candidates for current and future hiring needs.

Candidate Experience & Onboarding

  • Ensure a warm, professional, and timely candidate experience at every stage of the process.
  • Ensure vetting, reference checks, qualifications, and onboarding documents are processed efficiently.
  • Support and improve the onboarding journey to help new team members feel welcomed, informed, and ready to thrive from day one.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with Operations Managers to understand workforce planning and recruitment needs across all centres.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, analyse data, and prepare reports for the Senior Management Team.
  • Support initiatives that enhance our employer brand and position Busy Bees Ireland as an employer of choice in the childcare sector.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role, ideally in a high-volume, multi-site, or childcare / education setting
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Knowledge of Irish employment law and familiarity with Tusla compliance processes is a strong advantage
  • Be proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Must have eligibility to work full-time in the EU
  • The successful candidate will be required to attend ongoing Recruitments events in Ireland & across Europe
  • Knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage
